Group 1 Adds Messaging Capability to Call Center App

Group 1 Software [1] is introducing e-Messaging, a Java-based solution for creating and managing automated and customized e-mail and short message service (SMS) communications from within the company's Customer Communication Management product, an application for call centers. The e-Messaging solution lets businesses create automated e-mail and SMS marketing campaigns that include personalized information and embedded images, as well as access graphical reports on messages sent, delivery failures, and responses. In addition, e-Messaging archives all communications to provide comprehensive views of customer contacts and for regulatory compliance. The product is compatible with WebSphere 6.1.0.3 or higher and communicates with databases via the JDBC API.
