CoralTree Systems [1]offers the Renaissance Framework, an open-source developer's platform for creating and deploying scalable and secure CGI-based applications on System i servers running V5R3 or higher. Renaissance consists of a mixture of JavaScript, HTML, cascading style sheets, images, ILE/RPG and service programs, and some operational commands for starting and stopping the various framework server functions. These elements combine to create a model-controller-view architecture and a web browser-based user interface.

Renaissance supports multiple application environments running simultaneously on the same System i machine or partition. The solution features login security and lets users switch between different localized versions of an application by changing the user locale code and logging in again. Renaissance Framework also provides a generic viewer to display details of all collected audit trail records.
