Mrc [1] announces Web 2.X capabilities for m-Power and mrc-Productivity Series, development tool suites that help System i developers create custom business web applications in Java without writing code. The new templates include a smaller code base, multithread design, AJAX-enabled features, and a new m-Power import function, which lets any generated application import other applications, including related resources residing on other servers. Applications generated with either tool suite also run faster because the generated application templates are smaller and execute more efficiently.
