Original Software introduces TestDrive-Assist, a solution that delivers active support for manual application testing without forcing testers to change the way they work. TestDrive-Assist guides manual testers of web-based, GUI, or legacy green-screen applications with a list of the steps to complete thorough testing of those applications. It then monitors and records the progress and documents the test results.
Because TestDrive-Assist provides a full history of all of the test steps taken, it enables testers to recreate and isolate defects in software or to assist with meeting audit and compliance requirements. In addition, other team members can access and view all test results and re-create any problems as needed.
Designed as an entry-level product for testers who don’t yet need complete test automation, TestDrive-Assist lets testing teams gradually increment more automated testing solutions from Original Software and includes tracking functions that help developers correct software defects more rapidly.
