Sagem-Interstar announces a new Linux-based version of its XMediusFAX T.38 Fax over IP (FoIP) server technology, an upgrade that makes the product compatible with the United Communications environment from Nortel and 3Com running on System i servers under Linux. XMediusFAX lets users send and receive faxes directly from Lotus Notes or Microsoft Exchange clients, integrates with selected ERP applications (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Seibel), and provides complete tracking, managing, and archive services for faxed documents.
